Gafur Sertel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Emrah Keyfer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rüstem Usbey in the 11th minute of the match. Halil Utku Kınık fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gafur Sertel having to interfere. Kücükbakkalköy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Haldun Özge was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rüstem Usbey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in KULA SK's zone, Halil Utku Kınık stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gafur Sertel came out of the goal and Halil Utku Kınık tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Kücükbakkalköy's Halil Utku Kınık got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, KULA SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Çağrı Cumhur to maneuver through the defense. In the 46th minute of the match Arif Ozan Hüryaşar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gafur Sertel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Gafur Sertel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kudret Nevsal in the 65th minute. Emrah Keyfer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rüstem Usbey, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. With his leg Gafur Sertel managed to avoid a goal in the 75thth minute, when Kücükbakkalköy's Kudret Nevsal fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Halil Utku Kınık in the 76th minute of play forced KULA SK's goalkeeper Gafur Sertel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th play minute Kudret Nevsal came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gafur Sertel. 0-2. Gafur Sertel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Halil Utku Kınık, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Kücükbakkalköy booed when KULA SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mehmet Çağrı Cumhur didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Güntekin Tanju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The attack was good, but when Kudret Nevsal in the 97th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal.
