An unexpectedly hard shot by Şenel Temizkan in the 9th minute of play forced Peteklispor's goalkeeper Mustafa Barış Beşer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. İsrafil Taşkan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mehmet Bilge Yılhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rüknettin Şanver in the 12th minute of play. With a little luck, Kütahyaspor's Mehmet Bilge Yılhan got control of the ball when İsrafil Taşkan tried to sneak it across the goal line. İsrafil Taşkan struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Mehmet Bilge Yılhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peteklispor. 24 minutes into the game, Hasan Tahsin Oray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Peteklispor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Kütahyaspor the free kick. A collision led to Peteklispor getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kütahyaspor's goalkeeper Mehmet Bilge Yılhan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
