Spectators: 7218 (Terracing: 5415, Seating: 1660, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zekeriya Uluçkan in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kemalettin Sarı prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kemalettin Sarı showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alkın Üke in the 17th minute of the match. Alkın Üke kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes had been played when some careless play by Yozgat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Güvenç Kadrican was slow to take the kick. During this time CHEMİE's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on CHEMİE's corner Güvenç Kadrican fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tekin Bakanay quite easily take care of the ball. If Demirhan Budak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kemalettin Sarı took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Volkan Baş, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Volkan Baş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, CHEMİE's Hürkan Dürüst got a free kick in the 33rd minute. In the 39th minute, Necat Ilıcak made a precise shot to the right of Tekin Bakanay. Yozgat's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Demirhan Budak to strike the kick off in the second half. Günalp Aktan kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Kemalettin Sarı acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 55th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Ergincan Saim. After having played for 58 minutes, Necat Ilıcak managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CHEMİE's supporters crossed their fingers, but Necat Ilıcak was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Volkan Baş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Kemalettin Sarı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Demirhan Budak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tekin Bakanay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kemalettin Sarı made an important save on a dangerous shot by Volkan Baş in the 66th minute. 67 minutes into the match, CHEMİE's goalkeeper Kemalettin Sarı had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Volkan Baş. After a rather tough play, CHEMİE's Günalp Aktan got a free kick in the 70th minute. After 72 played minutes Yozgat got a freekick which was hit by Atilla Kağan Tunca. Güvenç Kadrican took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 74th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tekin Bakanay. Yozgat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After having played for 78 minutes, Volkan Baş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necat Ilıcak in the 84th minute of play forced Yozgat's goalkeeper Tekin Bakanay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Yozgat got a freekick which was hit by Muammer Keykavus. Volkan Baş sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
