Tolgahan Akçakıl recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tansu Tümcan took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan. Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Tolgahan Akçakıl received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Şamil Tayman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Hamdi Adal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Hizanlı in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the game, Lütfullah Turkay cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Tolgahan Akçakıl got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 23 minutes into the match, Selmi Keçeci notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Ayas's Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan. Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adnan Hizanlı in the 51st minute of the match. Ayas's defense didn't have a chance, in the 53rd minute, when Lütfullah Turkay scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan, making the score, 0-6. Ali Cafer Altunışık sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adnan Hizanlı in the 58th minute of play. Ayas's Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Ayas from getting a goal against them. After 61 minutes of play, Ardahan's Tansu Tümcan made it 0-7 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tansu Tümcan in the 81st minute. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ayas's goalkeeper Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ayas booed when Ardahan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tansu Tümcan didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tolgahan Akçakıl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Tansu Tümcan fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ardahan's protests and gave Tansu Tümcan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ardahan's Tansu Tümcan got a free kick in the 92nd minute. With a little luck, Ayas's Ahmet Rıfat Sarıdoğan got control of the ball when Tansu Tümcan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Ayas fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ardahan were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
