Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rasim Özsungur started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Sempolspor's Sabahattin Kural got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Buca's Hakkı Devrim Salar got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulaş Sıraç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Devrim Salar in the 7th minute. Ulaş Sıraç came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Buca's Hakkı Devrim Salar. But to his dismay, Hakkı Devrim Salar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Buca's Murat Mürşit slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ulaş Sıraç. That made the score 2-0 after 14 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the match, Sempolspor's goal looked a bit too open when Korkutalp Polathan came free, but Ulaş Sıraç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute, Hakkı Devrim Salar made a precise shot to the right of Ulaş Sıraç. Sempolspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Ulaş Sıraç was a little too slow when Murat Mürşit got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 4-0. Hakkı Devrim Salar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Ulaş Sıraç made a huge save. Ulaş Sıraç was out of position in the 38 minute of play, and Murat Mürşit capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Murat Mürşit really showed his touch with that goal: 6-0. When Cahit Kotuzhan fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sempolspor's protests and gave Cahit Kotuzhan a yellow card for diving instead. Cahit Kotuzhan hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Orçun Çeliktaş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murat Mürşit to make the kick off. In the 58th minute, Cahit Kotuzhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sempolspor's Ulaş Sıraç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Mürşit in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute Anıl Baran Tanyeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ulaş Sıraç saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ulaş Sıraç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Mürşit, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sempolspor's Ulaş Sıraç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Murat Mürşit in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute, Anıl Baran Tanyeli made a precise shot to the right of Ulaş Sıraç. Sempolspor's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 83 played minutes, Sempolspor's Edip Tanaydin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Orçun Çeliktaş came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sempolspor reached it. After 85 played minutes Sempolspor got a freekick which was hit by Mustafa Arif Öksak. Günalp Baltaş took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ulaş Sıraç. Sempolspor's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Baran Tanyeli in the 89th minute of play forced Sempolspor's goalkeeper Ulaş Sıraç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
