When Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Sempolspor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in BenedeX's zone, Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bayram Tapgaç came out of the goal and Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sempolspor's Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Bayram Tapgaç. That made the score 1-0 after 16 minutes of play. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bayram Tapgaç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bayram Tapgaç having to interfere. Tim Cahill hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute, Lemi Şafakgün hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the game, Tim Cahill cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ulaş Sıraç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 37 played minutes Sempolspor got a freekick which was hit by Edip Tanaydin. If Edip Özel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Sempolspor getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Edip Tanaydin hit a great ball. Tim Cahill received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Ulaş Sıraç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Edip Özel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ulaş Sıraç was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 46th match minute, BenedeX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Cahill to maneuver through the defense. The Sempolspor players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BenedeX were winning 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tim Cahill was the one to do the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Rasim Özsungur cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bayram Tapgaç was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edip Özel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ulaş Sıraç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Sempolspor's goal looked a bit too open when Edip Özel came free, but Ulaş Sıraç reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rasim Özsungur recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bayram Tapgaç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edip Tanaydin, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After a rather tough play, Sempolspor's Edip Tanaydin got a free kick in the 91st minute. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Sempolspor's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
