Mustafa Arif Öksak lost his temper 13 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Sempolspor:s Ulaş Sıraç showed great skill when he stopped Başaran İltemiz:s penalty. Ulaş Sıraç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Özerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Mustafa Birol Yalın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu in the 23rd minute of the match. 1-0 became the score in the 24th minute when Özal Özerman elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Baran Alp Mevlit recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ulaş Sıraç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Özerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. 33 minutes into the match, Sebat's goal looked a bit too open when Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu came free, but Mustafa Birol Yalın reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute, Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sempolspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mustafa Birol Yalın saved Sebat from getting behind. In the 40th minute, Sabahattin Kural got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Yalın having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Özal Özerman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ulaş Sıraç. That made the score 2-1 in the 44 minute of play. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Mustafa Birol Yalın tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu made a kick off. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Sebat's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Edip Tanaydin was slow to take the kick. During this time Sempolspor's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Edip Tanaydin almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Sebat's Mustafa Birol Yalın did a great save. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Cahit Kotuzhan's late challenge caught a Sebat's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cahit Kotuzhan helped the player get up and apologised. Cahit Kotuzhan kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Ulaş Sıraç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Özal Özerman, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 64th minute, Yavuz Selim Yiğithan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Sebat's zone, Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mustafa Birol Yalın came out of the goal and Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mustafa Birol Yalın was a little too slow when Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-2. After 73 played minutes Sempolspor got a freekick which was hit by Rasim Özsungur. Sempolspor's Ulaş Sıraç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özal Özerman in the 76th minute of play. Mustafa Birol Yalın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mustafa Birol Yalın having to interfere. Edip Tanaydin might have been able to make a better finish in the 83rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mustafa Birol Yalın. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edip Tanaydin ran back to his position shaking his head. 84 minutes into the game, Üzeyir Dilan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sebat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sempolspor the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edip Tanaydin in the 85th minute of play forced Sebat's goalkeeper Mustafa Birol Yalın to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ulaş Sıraç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özal Özerman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hasan Hüseyin Aydınoğlu came free in the 95th minute and tried to tip the ball over Mustafa Birol Yalın, but to the joy of Sebat's supporters the ball went over. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
