With a couple of smart ball manuevers Güray Tolay in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bilgin Berkkan saved yenimalatyaspor from getting behind. In the 9th minute, Güray Tolay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ali Faruk Bahadır had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 12 minutes into the game, Fehmi Akçakoca was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. yenimalatyaspor's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sögütlü the free kick. Fehmi Akçakoca hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ferman Hüdayioğlu struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Bilgin Berkkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sögütlü. In a very dangerous position, a player in yenimalatyaspor fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Sögütlü. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Altay Yabgu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Sögütlü's Tuna Oyalp got a free kick in the 50th minute. yenimalatyaspor's Bilgin Berkkan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save yenimalatyaspor from getting a goal against them. Doğukan Baysu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 96th minute, Güray Tolay got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sögütlü played a much better game than yenimalatyaspor and deserved their victory. The yenimalatyaspor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
