Spectators: 7235 (Terracing: 5428, Seating: 1664, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ali Süngü got the match started through his kick off. When Polat Zeynel came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Gebzespor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Polat Zeynel couldn't finish the play. In the 10thth minute of the game Ali Süngü who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gebzespor's Niyazi Dilsaz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hüsrev Yurdaer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Müfit Oğuztan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niyazi Dilsaz having to interfere. If Polat Zeynel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Meftun getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Birdal İlbaşı hit a great ball. After 22 minutes Club Meftun's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Hamit Gökkır who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Hamit Gökkır got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ali Berkant Kotuzhan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polat Zeynel in the 25th minute of play forced Club Meftun's goalkeeper Ali Berkant Kotuzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 30 minutes, Müfit Oğuztan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Meftun's supporters crossed their fingers, but Müfit Oğuztan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Club Meftun's goal looked a bit too open when Hüsrev Yurdaer came free, but Ali Berkant Kotuzhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Polat Zeynel went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Club Meftun's Abdülhak Haktanır got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Karahan Ökkeş kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Polat Zeynel was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Polat Zeynel in the 53rd minute of play forced Club Meftun's goalkeeper Ali Berkant Kotuzhan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Polat Zeynel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gebzespor's supporters rose to their feet, but Polat Zeynel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hüsrev Yurdaer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ali Berkant Kotuzhan made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Polat Zeynel in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ali Berkant Kotuzhan saved Club Meftun from getting behind. If Hüsrev Yurdaer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Müfit Oğuztan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Niyazi Dilsaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Club Meftun getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Birdal İlbaşı hit a great ball. After 82 minutes, Karahan Ökkeş mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gebzespor and the Club Meftun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Gebzespor's Karahan Ökkeş got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Ali Süngü's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niyazi Dilsaz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. Polat Zeynel struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gebzespor. In the 89th minute, Abdülhak Haktanır hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Polat Zeynel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Club Meftun's Ali Süngü sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Niyazi Dilsaz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gebzespor walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
