Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Samir Refi made the kick off and thus started the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sakaryaspor's zone, İlkan Kaman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ataol Osman came out of the goal and İlkan Kaman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Suavi Baybora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sungurbey Tevfik having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Aktaç Mahmut hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Berk Şevket recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aktaç Mahmut in the 11th minute of play forced Yenicaga's goalkeeper Sungurbey Tevfik to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Yenicaga got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet Kutsi Mecnun. After 14 minutes, Ahmet Kutsi Mecnun mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Yenicaga and the Sakaryaspor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ahmet Kutsi Mecnun hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Aktaç Mahmut left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sakaryaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. If İlkan Kaman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yenicaga's goalkeeper Sungurbey Tevfik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
A collision led to Yenicaga getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Berat Yetişen hit a great ball. 54 minutes into the match, Sakaryaspor's Behzat Mengübay broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Ataol Osman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from İlkan Kaman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 61 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Kasım Coşar. After 62 played minutes, Yenicaga's Süreyya Kandemir shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ataol Osman came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Yenicaga reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers İlkan Kaman in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ataol Osman saved Sakaryaspor from getting behind. Aktaç Mahmut struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Sungurbey Tevfik didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sakaryaspor. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berk Şevket got free with Sungurbey Tevfik in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 79 minutes into the match, Yenicaga's goal looked a bit too open when Aktaç Mahmut came free, but Sungurbey Tevfik reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Kutsi Mecnun hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Yenicaga's Sungurbey Tevfik proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Yenicaga from getting a goal against them. İlkan Kaman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ataol Osman having to interfere. If Aktaç Mahmut had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
