After having played for 11 minutes, Aktaç Mahmut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sakaryaspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aktaç Mahmut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Berk Şevket had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Berk Şevket might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ali Berkant Kotuzhan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Berk Şevket ran back to his position shaking his head. Berk Şevket sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Aktaç Mahmut in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ali Berkant Kotuzhan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aktaç Mahmut went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Azim Korucu kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Berk Şevket got free with Ali Berkant Kotuzhan in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Club Meftun's Birdal İlbaşı got a free kick in the 56th minute. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Behzat Mengübay. After 58 played minutes Club Meftun got a freekick which was hit by Abdülhak Haktanır. Sakaryaspor's Berk Şevket got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Mahmut, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 63rd minute, Aktaç Mahmut reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ali Berkant Kotuzhan. The goal made the score 1-3. Ali Süngü received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Ataol Osman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ali Süngü sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aktaç Mahmut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Efekan Tokhan during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 76 played minutes Sakaryaspor got a freekick which was hit by Efekan Tokhan. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aktaç Mahmut, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Ali Berkant Kotuzhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aktaç Mahmut in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute Aktaç Mahmut shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ali Berkant Kotuzhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aktaç Mahmut's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ali Berkant Kotuzhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Sakaryaspor left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Club Meftun.
