Yenicaga's Sungurbey Tevfik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ferman Hüdayioğlu in the 14th minute of play. Tuna Oyalp hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Yenicaga's goalkeeper Sungurbey Tevfik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sungurbey Tevfik was out of position in the 25 minute of play, and Ferman Hüdayioğlu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ferman Hüdayioğlu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Sungurbey Tevfik was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ferman Hüdayioğlu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. Samir Refi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tuna Oyalp's late challenge caught a Yenicaga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The wind increased when Samir Refi made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Yenicaga's zone, Güray Tolay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sungurbey Tevfik came out of the goal and Güray Tolay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samir Refi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Ömer Rıza Kaptan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Batıray Emek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Güray Tolay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sögütlü fans cheered their team off the field, for while Yenicaga had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
