A beautiful save bye GALATASARAY's goalie prevented a goal. Zeynel Seyhan's late challenge caught a Manavgat FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zeynel Seyhan helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Manavgat FK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Göktuğ Olgunay didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baran Nadi in the 40th minute of play forced Manavgat FK's goalkeeper Sarp Artuç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute, Derya Uzcan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Çağlar Sertaç was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Sarp Artuç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zikri Ongul, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

GALATASARAY's Çağlar Sertaç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kuddusî Koçubey in the 69th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Manavgat FK's Caner Koç got a free kick in the 74th minute. When Dursun Ali Hicabi fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GALATASARAY's protests and gave Dursun Ali Hicabi a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manavgat FK booed when GALATASARAY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dursun Ali Hicabi didn't get a good kick on the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manavgat FK had played much better football throughout.
