Mustafa Kemal Tekke recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Davut Özilter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Talip Uğurel in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Fenerbahçe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kayhan Utkan to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Talip Uğurel came free, but Ahmet Davut Özilter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Talip Uğurel might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ahmet Davut Özilter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Talip Uğurel ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Talip Uğurel made the kick off in the second half. Mustafa Kemal Tekke had several of the Fenerbahçe's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 69 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-1 score and a disappointed Ahmet Davut Özilter as he didn't even see the shot coming. Fenerbahçe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 77th minute, when Talip Uğurel scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Davut Özilter, making the score, 0-2. Talip Uğurel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ahmet Davut Özilter having to make a save. A collision led to BadurSpor getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Talip Uğurel hit a great ball. Hakan Kutsel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mustafa Kemal Tekke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Ahmet Davut Özilter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. BadurSpor played a much better game than Fenerbahçe and deserved their victory. The Fenerbahçe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
