Spectators: 6652 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1652, VIP seats: 0) Kayhan Utkan started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Turgut İrfan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Buğrahan Esir having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Diyadin SK's goal looked a bit too open when Kayhan Utkan came free, but Buğrahan Esir reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 7 played minutes Diyadin SK got a freekick which was hit by Ercüment İmruz. 11 minutes into the match Kayhan Utkan came totally free in front of Diyadin SK's goalkeeper and smashed the ball just inside the right post. Murat Ozansu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Turgut İrfan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murat Ozansu in the 18th minute of play forced Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Ahmet Davut Özilter to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Murat Ozansu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Davut Özilter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Erdeniz Sümer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Ahmet Davut Özilter was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet Davut Özilter came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Diyadin SK's Erdeniz Sümer. But to his dismay, Erdeniz Sümer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Fenerbahçe's Ahmet Davut Özilter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercüment İmruz in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goal looked a bit too open when Murat Ozansu came free, but Ahmet Davut Özilter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erdeniz Sümer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Davut Özilter having to interfere. Ergün Bircan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Ahmet Davut Özilter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 37thth minute of the game Ergün Bircan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fenerbahçe's Ahmet Davut Özilter was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ahmet Davut Özilter didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Murat Ozansu went, in the 39th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 42nd match minute, Diyadin SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murat Ozansu to maneuver through the defense. Ahmet Davut Özilter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Murat Ozansu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Erdeniz Sümer scored 1-4 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Davut Özilter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Erdeniz Sümer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th match minute, Diyadin SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Erdeniz Sümer to maneuver through the defense. In the 55th minute of the match Fadıl Alptekin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Buğrahan Esir showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Ahmet Davut Özilter managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Diyadin SK's Ercüment İmruz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ahmet Davut Özilter took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erdeniz Sümer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Murat Ozansu came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Diyadin SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murat Ozansu couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Davut Özilter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdeniz Sümer in the 64th minute of play. Ahmet Davut Özilter came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Diyadin SK's Murat Ozansu. But to his dismay, Murat Ozansu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. Erdeniz Sümer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ahmet Davut Özilter made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erdeniz Sümer in the 69th minute of play. Buğrahan Esir made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kayhan Utkan in the 71st minute of play. Diyadin SK's Erdeniz Sümer got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ercüment İmruz during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ercüment İmruz hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ergün Bircan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Ahmet Davut Özilter skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the match, Fenerbahçe's goalkeeper Ahmet Davut Özilter had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Murat Ozansu. Murathan Baybars came free in the 84th minute and tried to tip the ball over Buğrahan Esir, but to the joy of Diyadin SK's supporters the ball went over. The supporters of Fenerbahçe booed when Diyadin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercüment İmruz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fadıl Alptekin, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Ercüment İmruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, Diyadin SK's Ahmet Davut Özilter threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erdeniz Sümer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Erdeniz Sümer hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Fenerbahçe's defense didn't have a chance, in the 98th minute, when Erdeniz Sümer scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Davut Özilter, making the score, 1-7. When the match was over Diyadin SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Fenerbahçe throughout the match.
