Ali Nabi Alpman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 5thth minute, Ahmet İlhan Başkurt skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ali Nabi Alpman in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ahmet İlhan Başkurt saved Erzurum from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Erzurum's zone, Vahit Yuluğ stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet İlhan Başkurt came out of the goal and Vahit Yuluğ tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Nabi Alpman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ahmet İlhan Başkurt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Vahit Yuluğ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ali Nabi Alpman in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ahmet İlhan Başkurt, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ali Nabi Alpman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet İlhan Başkurt having to interfere. A hard shot 37 in the game by Ali Nabi Alpman from a close distance when the talented Ahmet İlhan Başkurt managed to make a qualified save. Erzurum's players were relieved. A collision led to CEMO FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Çakabey Eraslan hit a great ball. Mehmet Oğuz Ceri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hadi İkbal in the 46th minute of the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in CEMO FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 47th minute. Penalty! Mehmet Oğuz Ceri had in the 49thth minute some difficulties stopping Ali Kağan Yoruç's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Hadi İkbal to strike the kick off in the second half. Mehmet Oğuz Ceri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hüseyin Rahmi Özerhan, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. After 74 played minutes Erzurum got a freekick which was hit by Murathan Akbal.
