The referee ignored Kuyucak JK's protests and gave Tibet Taykurt a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of KingTeam booed when Kuyucak JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tibet Taykurt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Eser Özkurt, 4 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Özer Urangu got free with Bilgin Özdamar in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kuyucak JK's Ahmet Erdem Özkutal got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bilgin Özdamar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ahmet Erdem Özkutal, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Durmuş Kantürk heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teoman Tankut in the 72nd minute of play forced Kuyucak JK's goalkeeper Cengizhan Neşit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
