After 3 played minutes Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC got a freekick which was hit by Kudret Uluçam. After a rather tough play, Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC's Baturay Pekinturk got a free kick in the 4th minute. 15 minutes into the match, Ciriaco Petri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Nedim Uluer. Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ciriaco Petri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Osman Durali kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Ahmet Nedim Uluer. That made the score 2-0 in the 19 minute of play. Ankara Gücü's Emrah İlbaşı played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İbrahim Ethem Kelim in the 32nd minute of play. Poyraz Koçaslan kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Ahmet Nedim Uluer came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Ankara Gücü's Ciriaco Petri. But to his dismay, Ciriaco Petri quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Refik Halit Kaymaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Refik Halit Kaymaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emrah İlbaşı breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vedat Ataergin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Ankara Gücü getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Oğuzer Serkan hit a great ball. 61 minutes into the match, Osman Durali had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ahmet Nedim Uluer. Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Osman Durali was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Ahmet Nedim Uluer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ciriaco Petri in the 69th minute of play. If Vedat Ataergin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vedat Ataergin came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Emrah İlbaşı could save by the left post. Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC's Conrado Mendebal pulled a muscle in his back after 79 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ciriaco Petri fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ankara Gücü's protests and gave Ciriaco Petri a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Ankara Gücü's Ciriaco Petri got a free kick in the 81st minute. İbrahim Ethem Kelim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Emrah İlbaşı tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. İbrahim Ethem Kelim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emrah İlbaşı having to interfere. The supporters of Ankara Gücü booed when Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aybars Zevahir didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 97th match minute, Bяυтαℓ Eмιяαтєѕ FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matt Coekelberghs to maneuver through the defense. Ankara Gücü's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
