Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ömer Kocay in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Renato Andrade prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Anıl Cilasun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ali Faruk Özgurcan in the 17th minute of play forced Korgan's goalkeeper Vefa Cenap to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Ömer Kocay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Andrade saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Müslüm Seferoğlulları in the 41st minute of play forced Yayladere's goalkeeper Renato Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 43 played minutes Korgan got a freekick which was hit by Yıldırım Çırakoğlu. 47 minutes into the match, Yayladere's Talip Recai sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vefa Cenap narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ömer Kocay made a kick off. When Necip Fazıl Tamay fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Yayladere's protests and gave Necip Fazıl Tamay a yellow card for diving instead. Ahmet Hamdi İklim was shown his second yellow card after 68 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. With a little luck, Yayladere's Renato Andrade got control of the ball when Müslüm Seferoğlulları tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Korgan supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Korgan would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
