Ertunç Kalhan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ekber Saygılı in the 21st minute of the match. After 22 played minutes Kücükyali got a freekick which was hit by Kazım Kotuzhan. After having played for 33 minutes, Şener Urangu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kücükyali's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şener Urangu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 47th minute of the match Ali Behzat Canfeda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ertunç Kalhan skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

With a little luck, Efsanespor's Ertunç Kalhan got control of the ball when Şener Urangu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kücükyali's Sarp Pirane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Acar Karay in the 65th minute of play. A collision led to Efsanespor getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Acar Karay hit a great ball. Ertunç Kalhan made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Şener Urangu sent off a good shot on target. Acar Karay scored 2-0 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sarp Pirane, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 93 minutes into the game, Ekber Saygılı recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ertunç Kalhan. Ekber Saygılı showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Efsanespor were victorious despite being under pressure from Kücükyali for much of the match.
