Akcadag's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antakya JK the free kick. In the 16th minute, Göktürk Besim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Antakya JK booed when Akcadag was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kubilay Ferikoğlu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 22nd minute, Akcadag's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Andi Fries fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Cenap Önateş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ahmet Erdem Tümenbay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 34 minutes, Cenap Önateş managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antakya JK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cenap Önateş was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Tibet Ulus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Arif Vurgun. Antakya JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibet Ulus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Antakya JK's Mehmet Arif Vurgun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Korcan İskender in the 40th minute of play. Mehmet Arif Vurgun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Korcan İskender in the 44th minute of play. If Tibet Ulus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

53 minutes into the match, Tibet Ulus had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mehmet Arif Vurgun. Antakya JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tibet Ulus was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Akcadag's Tibet Ulus got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 70th minute, Doğuhan Atlıhan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Müjdat Bozer was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 71st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Slawomir Rydzyk hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Tibet Ulus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Akcadag's supporters rose to their feet, but Tibet Ulus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mehmet Arif Vurgun breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andi Fries in the 79th minute of play forced Akcadag's goalkeeper Ahmet Erdem Tümenbay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tibet Uluss short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Mehmet Arif Vurgun to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 89 minutes into the match, Tibet Ulus notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Antakya JK's Mehmet Arif Vurgun. Mehmet Arif Vurgun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Cenap Önateş came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Antakya JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cenap Önateş couldn't finish the play. If Andi Fries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
