Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ertan Yağızkan took the kick off in the first half of the match. Hasan Tahsin Tanju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atilla Ilıca having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Güneysu SK's zone, Sezgin Selman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk came out of the goal and Sezgin Selman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 13 minutes, Ertan Yağızkan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Güneysu SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ertan Yağızkan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Atilla Ilıca was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ertan Yağızkan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 15 minute of play. Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kazım Özaslan in the 20th minute of the match. Altinova's Kazım Özaslan got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sezgin Selman in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kazım Özaslan in the 30th minute of play forced Güneysu SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Altinova's Kazım Özaslan. But to his dismay, Kazım Özaslan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Ertan Yağızkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Atilla Ilıca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute Ertan Yağızkan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilla Ilıca saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 37 minutes, Batuhan Kamver mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Altinova and the Güneysu SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sezgin Selman to make the kick off. Sezgin Selman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Altinova's Batuhan Kamver got a free kick in the 54th minute. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Ertan Yağızkan put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Atilla Ilıca. Hürkan Özguner was slow to take the kick. During this time Altinova's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Altinova's corner Hürkan Özguner fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk quite easily take care of the ball. Kazım Özaslan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 89 minutes, Emrullah Sarp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Güneysu SK and the Altinova players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Altinova booed when Güneysu SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emrullah Sarp didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 92 minutes, Yaser Tokuzer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altinova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yaser Tokuzer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kazım Özaslan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kazım Özaslan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk made a huge save. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Güneysu SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Altinova had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
