After 11 minutes, Battal Gazi Yelmen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Güneysu SK and the Yedigöller FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Güneysu SK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 12th minute, where Yedigöller FK:s Egemen Akdiken tricked Güneysu SK:s Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk with a difficult ball by the left post. After 18 minutes, Alkan Şanalp mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Güneysu SK and the Yedigöller FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Özal Akarslan charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Özal Akarslan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th minute, Özal Akarslan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience was convinced that Ertan Yağızkan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atay Soyuer was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ertan Yağızkan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Yedigöller FK's Rahim Öktüre got a free kick in the 53rd minute. When Güneysu SK's Ertan Yağızkan in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ertan Yağızkan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Atay Soyuer having to make a save. Hasan Tahsin Tanju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Atay Soyuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melih Tümcan in the 74th minute of the match. Hasan Tahsin Tanju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Soyuer having to interfere. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Güneysu SK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kutsi Tamerk, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Özal Akarslan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Tahsin Tanju fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Soyuer having to interfere. Ertan Yağızkan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Atay Soyuer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match was over Güneysu SK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Yedigöller FK throughout the match.
