The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Kamber Kemal notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Yedigöller FK's Atay Soyuer. Atay Soyuer was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 6th match minute, Artvin SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fahrettin Riva to maneuver through the defense. Keramettin Batır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Özal Akarslan in the 8th minute of play. Atay Soyuer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinç Samih in the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Yedigöller FK booed when Artvin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Binali Selami didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yedigöller FK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Egemen Akdiken in the 15th minute. The corner ended in Egemen Akdiken almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Artvin SK's Keramettin Batır did a great save. Keramettin Batır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melih Tümcan in the 23rd minute of play. Özal Akarslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Özal Akarslan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Keramettin Batır saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Yedigöller FK's goalkeeper Atay Soyuer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Melih Tümcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keramettin Batır having to interfere.

The wind increased when Özal Akarslan made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, Melih Tümcan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Keramettin Batır. Artvin SK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Melih Tümcan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 59th minute Dinç Samih shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atay Soyuer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atay Soyuer stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kamber Kemal's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. Kamber Kemal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yedigöller FK's Atay Soyuer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinç Samih in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Artvin SK booed when Yedigöller FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Battal Seyyit Akgöze didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 70 minutes, Orkun Riva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artvin SK and the Yedigöller FK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Orkun Riva kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Keramettin Batır made an important save on a dangerous shot by Melih Tümcan in the 71st minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Kamber Kemal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Artvin SK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kamber Kemal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74thth minute of the game Dinç Samih who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yedigöller FK's Atay Soyuer was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Melih Tümcan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Özal Akarslan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Yedigöller FK booed when Artvin SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gökmen Ilgıt didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Binali Selami fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Artvin SK's protests and gave Binali Selami a yellow card for diving instead. 82 minutes into the game, one of Artvin SK:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The goalkeeper, Keramettin Batır, was totally fooled by Yedigöller FK's Egemen Akdiken, who 84 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Dinç Samih fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Atay Soyuer having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Yedigöller FK's Battal Seyyit Akgöze got a free kick in the 89th minute. Artvin SK's Keramettin Batır proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Artvin SK from getting a goal against them. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yedigöller FK eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
