Kıraç Önen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Samet Dinç having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Emran Polatalp's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samet Dinç was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Başaran in the 26th minute of play forced Altındağ JK's goalkeeper Necmettin Koçyiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bahattin Hancı recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bahattin Hancı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kıraç Önen in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samet Dinç prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Mersin İdman Ocagı booed when Altındağ JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emran Polatalp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Kıraç Önen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Samet Dinç read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Kıraç Önen notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Mersin İdman Ocagı's Samet Dinç. Samet Dinç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mersin İdman Ocagı's Samet Dinç played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emran Polatalp in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Altındağ JK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Emran Polatalp made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Arif Nihat Sabir hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Altındağ JK's zone, Bahattin Hancı stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Necmettin Koçyiğit came out of the goal and Bahattin Hancı tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hamza Başaran in the 55th minute of play forced Altındağ JK's goalkeeper Necmettin Koçyiğit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Necmettin Koçyiğit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hamza Başaran's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. Necmettin Koçyiğit showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bahattin Hancı in the 60th minute of the match. When Emran Polatalp came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Altındağ JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emran Polatalp couldn't finish the play. Emran Polatalp received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Samet Dinç came out and tried to block the shot, but Emran Polatalp slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 64th minute. Necmettin Koçyiğit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hamza Başaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Mustafa Barış İsrafil, 74 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gazi Taylak during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Bahattin Hancı managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mersin İdman Ocagı's supporters rose to their feet, but Bahattin Hancı was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Necmettin Koçyiğit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Necmettin Koçyiğit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamza Başaran in the 77th minute of play. Kıraç Önen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Necmettin Koçyiğit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mersin İdman Ocagı.
