Spectators: 7277 (Terracing: 5460, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hamza Başaran took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mehmet Ferit Yesar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gamel SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mehmet Ferit Yesar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samet Dinç breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gamel SK's Ercan Serkut played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hamza Başaran in the 7th minute of play. Samet Dinç came out of the goal in the 11th minute to try and stop a shot by Gamel SK's Bülent Yasun. But to his dismay, Bülent Yasun quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 15th minute, Ali Kürşat Kutel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gamel SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Mehmet Ferit Yesar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mersin İdman Ocagı's zone, Bülent Yasun stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samet Dinç came out of the goal and Bülent Yasun tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Samet Dinç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Kürşat Kutel in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Kuzey Satır notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Mersin İdman Ocagı's Samet Dinç. Samet Dinç was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Mersin İdman Ocagı's zone, Kuzey Satır stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Samet Dinç came out of the goal and Kuzey Satır tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Özcan Tülün's late challenge caught a Gamel SK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Özcan Tülün helped the player get up and apologised. After 33 played minutes Mersin İdman Ocagı got a freekick which was hit by Özcan Tülün. Samet Dinç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kuzey Satır, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Samet Dinç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bülent Yasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Bülent Yasun made a precise shot to the right of Samet Dinç. Mersin İdman Ocagı's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 41st minute, Aybars Özkul hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ali Kürşat Kutel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Samet Dinç tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 45th minute, Kuzey Satır ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Samet Dinç was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. The Mersin İdman Ocagı players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gamel SK were winning 0-5.

Samet Dinç made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. In the 71st minute, Bedrettin Şanver got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
