Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when İlhan Atasoy kicked off to start the match. A collision led to Yalovaspor getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Zeynel Seciye hit a great ball. The long shot by Lütfü Ersezen in the 8th minute really tested Erhun Sungur's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 11th minute Ferid Zümer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alpay Pekşen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alpay Pekşen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mesut Sağman in the 12th minute of the match. In the 13th minute of the match Yalovaspor got a corner. Kandilli's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. İlhan Atasoy ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Yalovaspor's corner İlhan Atasoy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alpay Pekşen quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute, Ferid Zümer ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alpay Pekşen was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Mete Ulağ's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Erhun Sungur firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alpay Pekşen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhan Atasoy in the 29th minute of play. Kandilli's Alpay Pekşen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhan Atasoy in the 34th minute of play. If Mete Ulağ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 40th minute, İlhan Atasoy left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yalovaspor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Altan Onatkan charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Altan Onatkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Yalovaspor booed when Kandilli was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Altan Onatkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Yalovaspor were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hatemi Hamurcuoğlu to make the kick off. Alpay Pekşen was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but İlhan Atasoy showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 51 minute of play. Mete Ulağ fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erhun Sungur having to interfere. Alpay Pekşen made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when İlhan Atasoy sent off a good shot on target. When Lütfü Ersezen fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Kandilli's protests and gave Lütfü Ersezen a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Kandilli was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lütfü Ersezen to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Kandilli's goalkeeper Alpay Pekşen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by İlhan Atasoy. After 67 played minutes Yalovaspor got a freekick which was hit by Ferid Zümer. After 77 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Yalovaspor! Mete Ulağ kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After 88 minutes of play, Yalovaspor's Mesut Sağman made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alpay Pekşen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Enver Aktekin got a throw-in 92 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mete Ulağ. Yalovaspor's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
