Spectators: 7089 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ahmet Nedim Erentürk started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Gencalp Saygur hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute Mücahit Naci shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdi Özen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karasu's Erdi Özen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tan Suha in the 11th minute of play. After 12 minutes, Mücahit Naci mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bilkent JK and the Karasu players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Karasu booed when Bilkent JK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mücahit Naci didn't get a good kick on the ball. Türkeş Baybora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Aşkın having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Tan Suha who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Karasu's Erdi Özen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Karasu's goal looked a bit too open when Tan Suha came free, but Erdi Özen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 21st minute of the match Hacı Kayra sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kadri Aşkın skillfully saved the ball. Erdi Özen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tan Suha in the 24th minute of the match. Bilkent JK's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Türkeş Baybora 26 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Türkeş Baybora fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kadri Aşkın having to interfere. With a little luck, Bilkent JK's Kadri Aşkın got control of the ball when Özal İleri tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hasan Can Arısoy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Türkeş Baybora hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Erdi Özen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ahmet Nedim Erentürk went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Türkeş Baybora to strike the kick off in the second half. Tan Suha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahmet Nedim Erentürk struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Erdi Özen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bilkent JK. When Salih Zeval fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karasu's protests and gave Salih Zeval a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th match minute, Karasu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salih Zeval to maneuver through the defense. Kadri Aşkın showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Baybora in the 62nd minute of the match. Hasan Can Arısoy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute.
