İskender Baki Özgunes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serbülent Doğa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Dilaver Tecelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vahit Tellioğlu in the 16th minute of play. Ege Bozbey's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Serbülent Doğa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Egemen Mertoğul's late challenge caught a FC kanci's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Egemen Mertoğul helped the player get up and apologised. After 21 played minutes Trabzon got a freekick which was hit by Egemen Mertoğul. Tekin Aynacıoğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Dilaver Tecelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Utku Aktemur to maneuver through the defense. Dilaver Tecelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tekin Aynacıoğlu in the 26th minute of the match. After 28 minutes of play Trabzon's Egemen Mertoğul was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 30th minute of the match Seyfettin Talaş shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dilaver Tecelli showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tekin Aynacıoğlu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dilaver Tecelli prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 41st match minute, Trabzon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İskender Baki Özgunes to maneuver through the defense. Vahit Tellioğlu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half FC kanci were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tekin Aynacıoğlu was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, FC kanci's goal looked a bit too open when Ege Bozbey came free, but Serbülent Doğa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Cuma Sulhi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 59th minute Ege Bozbey shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serbülent Doğa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vahit Tellioğlu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 62ndth minute, Dilaver Tecelli skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a little luck, Trabzon's Dilaver Tecelli got control of the ball when Vahit Tellioğlu tried to sneak it across the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, FC kanci's Vahit Tellioğlu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dilaver Tecelli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Vahit Tellioğlu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Dilaver Tecelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the match, Trabzon's goalkeeper Dilaver Tecelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vahit Tellioğlu. When Fazlı Yalkı fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Trabzon's protests and gave Fazlı Yalkı a yellow card for diving instead. Fazlı Yalkı hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match.
