After having played for 85 minutes, Reşat Taşcan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taşgücü Sk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reşat Taşcan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Emran Akbudun fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GÖKTÜRK FK's protests and gave Emran Akbudun a yellow card for diving instead. Emran Akbudun hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Reşat Taşcan might have been able to make a better finish in the 89th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over İslam Togay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Reşat Taşcan ran back to his position shaking his head. Lefter Yaman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Reşat Taşcan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without İslam Togay having to interfere.
