If Romulo Kepa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 7th minute Romulo Kepa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gürsel Koçubey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 15 minutes into the game, when Caner Erkin put in a rough tackle. Caner Erkin kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes, GARİPLER SK's Berkin Mülayim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Loïc Vigoureux came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GARİPLER SK reached it. Gürsel Koçubey stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romulo Kepa's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Gürsel Koçubey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinçer Gökekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GARİPLER SK booed when Kaplan FK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kamil Başaran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ali Orhan Necmi missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 38 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Loïc Vigoureux right hand side. Alperen Rezan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Loïc Vigoureux made a huge save. In the 44th match minute, Kaplan FK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vahdet Umurbey to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes in the game Ali Orhan Necmi got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. After the first half Kaplan FK were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Davut Tecmil to make the kick off. Gürsel Koçubey made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Vahdet Umurbey sent off a good shot on target. GARİPLER SK's Gürsel Koçubey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinçer Gökekin in the 55th minute of play. GARİPLER SK's Gürsel Koçubey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save GARİPLER SK from getting a goal against them. Davut Tecmil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Kepa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gürsel Koçubey having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Kaplan FK's Dinçer Gökekin slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gürsel Koçubey. That made the score 0-2 after 68 minutes of play. With a little luck, GARİPLER SK's Gürsel Koçubey got control of the ball when Romulo Kepa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gürsel Koçubey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinçer Gökekin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Alperen Rezan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Loïc Vigoureux was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. After a rather tough play, GARİPLER SK's Ali Orhan Necmi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Berkin Mülayim got his second yellow card in the match during the 93rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Berkin Mülayim hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Kaplan FK walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
