The audience thought a goal was coming when Resulhan Tanju got free with Ahmet Necdet İlsu in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ahmet Necdet İlsu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Resulhan Tanju in the 19th minute. Resulhan Tanju scored 2-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ahmet Necdet İlsu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Müslüm Uluşahin made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Aşkın Kurtuluş managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sskısparta's supporters rose to their feet, but Aşkın Kurtuluş was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After 80 played minutes, Hayrat FK's Ozan Eralkan shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet İlsu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hayrat FK reached it. After 83 minutes of play, Hayrat FK's Müslüm Uluşahin made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ahmet Necdet İlsu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tamer Rafiz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, İbrahim Hanefi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ecevit Tozun in the 92nd minute of play forced Sskısparta's goalkeeper Ahmet Necdet İlsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the match, Sskısparta's goal looked a bit too open when Müslüm Uluşahin came free, but Ahmet Necdet İlsu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Sskısparta supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Sskısparta would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
