Çelikan Seçkin kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Enginsu Özgener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Batu Cem Özben in the 6th minute of the match. After 8 minutes, Batur Dindar mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mecidiyeköy SK and the BüyüklimanSpor players grew even worse after the yellow card. Şahap Ersunal shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 14th match minute, BüyüklimanSpor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özcan Atılay to maneuver through the defense. BüyüklimanSpor's Enginsu Özgener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batu Cem Özben in the 16th minute of play. Alpertunga Oksay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reha Riva in the 18th minute of the match. Turan Zaik hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Saruhan Okanay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of BüyüklimanSpor booed when Mecidiyeköy SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orçun Girgin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, BüyüklimanSpor's Turan Zaik got a free kick in the 31st minute. Saruhan Okanay recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 43rd minute Batu Cem Özben shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enginsu Özgener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batu Cem Özben to make the kick off. Çelikan Seçkin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Reha Riva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alpertunga Oksay having to make a save. In the 65th minute, İzzet İslamoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Batu Cem Özben sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ahmet Ege Olgun fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mecidiyeköy SK's protests and gave Ahmet Ege Olgun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Ahmet Ege Olgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 88thth minute of the game Batu Cem Özben who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but BüyüklimanSpor's Enginsu Özgener was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Mecidiyeköy SK getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Batu Cem Özben hit a great ball. Enginsu Özgener showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Batu Cem Özben, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Enginsu Özgener took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saruhan Okanay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
