Spectators: 7308 (Terracing: 5482, Seating: 1681, VIP seats: 145) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Batu Cem Özben started the match with the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tahsin Tunçdağ during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to North DUKe getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tahsin Tunçdağ hit a great ball. Cemal Özerkmen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saruhan Okanay in the 4th minute of the match. İzzet İslamoğlu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Bedirhan Tuğra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Saruhan Okanay managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mecidiyeköy SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Saruhan Okanay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cemal Özerkmen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 16 minutes into the match, Mecidiyeköy SK's goal looked a bit too open when Bedirhan Tuğra came free, but Alpertunga Oksay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Ahmet Ege Olgun fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mecidiyeköy SK's protests and gave Ahmet Ege Olgun a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Ahmet Ege Olgun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mecidiyeköy SK's Alpertunga Oksay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bedirhan Tuğra in the 18th minute of play. Cemal Özerkmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Saruhan Okanay in the 21st minute of play. After some careless play in the North DUKe defense, Saruhan Okanay kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cemal Özerkmen. The North DUKe fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cemal Özerkmen should have stopped the shot. In the 27th match minute, North DUKe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tahsin Tunçdağ to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Mecidiyeköy SK booed when North DUKe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tarkan Esendağ didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Batu Cem Özben in the 32nd minute of play forced North DUKe's goalkeeper Cemal Özerkmen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Batu Cem Özben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Batu Cem Özben in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cemal Özerkmen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Batu Cem Özben managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mecidiyeköy SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Batu Cem Özben was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bedirhan Tuğra to make the kick off. Ali Galip Kudretullah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bedirhan Tuğra took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alpertunga Oksay. Alpertunga Oksay dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Saruhan Okanay could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Cemal Özerkmen made a huge save. İzzet İslamoğlu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cemal Özerkmen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Cemal Özerkmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Cem Özben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cemal Özerkmen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Batu Cem Özben in the 75th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Batu Cem Özben in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cemal Özerkmen saved North DUKe from getting behind. Batu Cem Özben recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Bedirhan Tuğra's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alpertunga Oksay was relentless in the 89th minute of the game. Batu Cem Özben fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cemal Özerkmen having to interfere. In the 93rd minute the ball was on its way in behind North DUKe's goalkeeper Cemal Özerkmen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.
