When Turan Zaik fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BüyüklimanSpor's protests and gave Turan Zaik a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Mesudiye booed when BüyüklimanSpor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Turan Zaik didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 9th minute Reha Riva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gökhun Çetiner saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aybar Samet during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Mesudiye got a freekick which was hit by Aybar Samet. Reha Riva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Gökhun Çetiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Çelikan Seçkin notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Mesudiye's Gökhun Çetiner. Gökhun Çetiner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Çelikan Seçkin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gökhun Çetiner was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 36th match minute, Mesudiye was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aybar Samet to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Mesudiye's zone, Çelikan Seçkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gökhun Çetiner came out of the goal and Çelikan Seçkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gökhun Çetiner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Çelikan Seçkin in the 40th minute of the match. Çelikan Seçkin struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Gökhun Çetiner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BüyüklimanSpor. In the 46th minute, Hayri Saltık hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gökhun Çetiner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reha Riva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Reha Riva took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gökhun Çetiner. Gökhun Çetiner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Gökhun Çetiner made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reha Riva in the 56th minute. Reha Riva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BüyüklimanSpor's Çelikan Seçkin got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Çelikan Seçkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Gökhun Çetiner tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Çelikan Seçkin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gökhun Çetiner prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 84th minute, Şahap Ersunal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mesudiye's goalkeeper Gökhun Çetiner, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Enginsu Özgener showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Temel Sözmen in the 93rd minute of the match.
