Sultandagi
Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Haldun Deren started the match with the kick off. After 4 minutes of play, Izmir's Hakkı Onur Ersal made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Edip Hürol was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Arda Baybars Okaner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sultandagi's goalkeeper Mehmet Edip Hürol, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hakkı Onur Ersal came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Izmir fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hakkı Onur Ersal couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Mustafa Haydar Okseven in the 16th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Sultandagi's Akgün Altunç. Haldun Deren took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mehmet Edip Hürol. Mehmet Edip Hürol dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Seçkin Ökmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Baybars Okaner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Haldun Deren in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mehmet Edip Hürol prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mehmet Edip Hürol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Onur Ersal in the 30th minute of play. Haldun Deren recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sultandagi's Mehmet Edip Hürol played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hakkı Onur Ersal in the 35th minute of play. Mehmet Edip Hürol showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hakkı Onur Ersal in the 39th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute, Izmir's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Yetkiner Hacıbeyoğlu fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mehmet Edip Hürol made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hakkı Onur Ersal in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Arda Baybars Okaner made the kick off in the second half. When Hakan Başar fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Izmir's protests and gave Hakan Başar a yellow card for diving instead. Arda Baybars Okaner might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Seçkin Ökmen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arda Baybars Okaner ran back to his position shaking his head. 65 minutes into the game, Hakkı Onur Ersal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Mehmet Edip Hürol was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 68 minutes in the game, Haldun Deren fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Mehmet Edip Hürol having to interfere. Sultandagi's Mehmet Edip Hürol proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Sultandagi from getting a goal against them. In the 76th minute, Haldun Deren reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mehmet Edip Hürol. The goal made the score 0-4. Hakkı Onur Ersal scored 0-5 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mehmet Edip Hürol, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Sultandagi's goal looked a bit too open when Haldun Deren came free, but Mehmet Edip Hürol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mesut Rahmet kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Izmir's Haldun Deren got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Seçkin Ökmen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arda Baybars Okaner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hakkı Onur Ersal came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Mehmet Edip Hürol could save by the left post. Haldun Deren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Mehmet Edip Hürol tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Izmir left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sultandagi.
