In the 19th minute, Hakkı Kenan Çelikkan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Güvenç Yildıran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 27th minute Gökberk Kanat suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Hüseyin Cahit Özgulec charged in rather forcefully in the 27th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hakkı Kenan Çelikkan made a kick off. Güvenç Yildıran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hakkı Kenan Çelikkan in the 52nd minute. SELEFKOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ali Güralp Attaroğlu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hüseyin İzzettin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Güvenç Yildıran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 79 minutes into the game, Ali Güralp Attaroğlu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SELEFKOS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monster FC the free kick. After 80 played minutes SELEFKOS got a freekick which was hit by Ali Güralp Attaroğlu. Hüseyin İzzettin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the game, Aytunç Mecnun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Monster FC's Nusret Öztuna quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The supporters of SELEFKOS booed when Monster FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hakkı Kenan Çelikkan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Batuhan Ankaralı sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SELEFKOS succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Monster FC had controlled the match.
