After 14 minutes, Enver Bucuklu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Karakecili and the Yayladere players grew even worse after the yellow card. Karakecili's Ahmet Erdem Hadim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ulaş Şahbender in the 16th minute of play. In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karakecili's goalkeeper Ahmet Erdem Hadim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 21 minutes, Ulaş Şahbender managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yayladere's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulaş Şahbender was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Karakecili's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Ulaş Şahbender scored to the left of an out of position Ahmet Erdem Hadim, making the score, 1-0. Ulaş Şahbender fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ahmet Erdem Hadim having to interfere. After 29 played minutes Yayladere got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Şefik Çırağ. Turabi İltemiz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ünsal Sav, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ünsal Sav had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Turabi İltemiz. Turabi İltemiz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 40th match minute, Yayladere was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kadir Trabzonlu to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Baykal Enfa sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Yayladere's Turabi İltemiz didn't even have to move. The supporters of Karakecili booed when Yayladere was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Arif Baliç didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
