Spectators: 7040 (Terracing: 5440, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 100) Dörtyolagizi's Cüneyt Benli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ünsal Sav might have been able to make a better finish in the 2nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Øystein Sagmo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ünsal Sav ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dörtyolagizi's goalkeeper Øystein Sagmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 5th match minute, Karakecili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ünsal Sav to maneuver through the defense. 8 minutes into the match, Ünsal Sav notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Dörtyolagizi's Øystein Sagmo. Øystein Sagmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Karakecili's goalkeeper Ahmet Erdem Hadim, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the game, Karakecili's Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Øystein Sagmo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 15 played minutes Dörtyolagizi got a freekick which was hit by Rahmi Akdiken. Karakecili's Ahmet Erdem Hadim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cüneyt Benli in the 22nd minute of play. Cüneyt Benli kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. In the 26th minute of the match Can Sertaç shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Øystein Sagmo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th match minute, Karakecili was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bora Dilşad to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Dörtyolagizi's Abdi Saygın Safvet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ahmet Erdem Hadim narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Øystein Sagmo saved Dörtyolagizi from getting behind. In the 32ndth minute of the game Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dörtyolagizi's Øystein Sagmo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Øystein Sagmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ünsal Sav, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları in the 38th minute of play forced Dörtyolagizi's goalkeeper Øystein Sagmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Øystein Sagmo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Ünsal Sav sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baykal Enfa hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Ahmet Necdet Zeynur, 49 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hasan Ali Seferoğlulları to make the kick off. Øystein Sagmo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ünsal Sav in the 56th minute. In the 77th minute there was a penalty for Dörtyolagizi. Ahmet Necdet Zeynur stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ahmet Erdem Hadim. 1-4. Ahmet Erdem Hadim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abdi Saygın Safvet in the 86th minute of play. Ünsal Sav recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 94 minutes into the match, Karakecili's Ünsal Sav sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Øystein Sagmo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Karakecili getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Ali Atıf Hirfanlı hit a great ball. When Halis Sezginay fell near the penalty area in the 99th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Karakecili's protests and gave Halis Sezginay a yellow card for diving instead.
