The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game. One of Kirikhan:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zincirlikuyu:s goal. Kirikhan:s Gencay Öğeturk showed great skill when he stopped Mustafa Haydar Torum:s penalty. Gencay Öğeturk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mustafa Haydar Torum went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Asaf Uzcan made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Nadir Abanoz sent off a good shot on target. Nadir Abanoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Kirikhan's goal looked a bit too open when Bilge Nevruz came free, but Gencay Öğeturk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arif Cengiz Baydan during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 14th minute, Arif Cengiz Baydan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 15th minute Bilge Nevruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencay Öğeturk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nadir Abanoz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Nadir Abanoz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kirikhan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nadir Abanoz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Zincirlikuyu's Bilge Nevruz got a free kick in the 20th minute. Asaf Uzcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ali Atıf Balkan in the 22nd minute. Nadir Abanoz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arif Cengiz Baydan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nadir Abanoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asaf Uzcan having to interfere. A collision led to Zincirlikuyu getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Şükrü Gerdaneri hit a great ball. When Arif Cengiz Baydan came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Kirikhan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arif Cengiz Baydan couldn't finish the play. Günalp Uluman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gencay Öğeturk having to interfere. Bilge Nevruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Bilge Nevruz to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Günalp Uluman got free with Gencay Öğeturk in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mustafa Haydar Torum walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. After a defensive mix-up in Kirikhan's zone, Bilge Nevruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gencay Öğeturk came out of the goal and Bilge Nevruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Günalp Uluman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Günalp Nazif in the 69th minute of play forced Kirikhan's goalkeeper Gencay Öğeturk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Kirikhan's Gencay Öğeturk got control of the ball when Bilge Nevruz tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 78 played minutes Kirikhan got a freekick which was hit by Arif Cengiz Baydan. Nadir Abanoz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Asaf Uzcan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gencay Öğeturk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bilge Nevruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Günalp Uluman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zincirlikuyu's supporters rose to their feet, but Günalp Uluman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gencay Öğeturk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zincirlikuyu succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Kirikhan had controlled the match.
