In the 4th minute, İlhami Eyüp left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Osmangazi fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by İlhami Eyüp in the 18th minute of play forced Makri Okşoho's goalkeeper Mehmet Esendağ to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 20 minutes, Şükrü Özselen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Osmangazi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şükrü Özselen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Yüce Gündoğan came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Osmangazi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yüce Gündoğan couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, İlhami Eyüp ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mehmet Esendağ was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Mehmet Esendağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from İlhami Eyüp in the 32nd minute of play. Makri Okşoho's Mehmet Esendağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by İlhami Eyüp in the 37th minute of play. When Osmangazi's Yüce Gündoğan in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Mehmet Esendağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Osmangazi. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Makri Okşoho's goalkeeper Mehmet Esendağ, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Şükrü Özselen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Osmangazi and the Makri Okşoho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Makri Okşoho's zone, Yüce Gündoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Esendağ came out of the goal and Yüce Gündoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Although Makri Okşoho had been in control for most of the match, Osmangazi still came away with the win.
