The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Arslan Kayı during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Zincirlikuyu's Arslan Kayı got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Habib Dural sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 10 minutes into the match, IMPARATOR's goalkeeper Şevket Emiroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Günalp Uluman. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Doğan Olcay managed to get in a good position for a shot. IMPARATOR's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğan Olcay was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Asaf Uzcan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bilge Nevruz in the 14th minute of play forced IMPARATOR's goalkeeper Şevket Emiroğlu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Doğan Olcay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Günalp Uluman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Doğan Olcay struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Asaf Uzcan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for IMPARATOR. Habib Dural blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Asaf Uzcan having to make a save. Doğan Olcay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 39 minutes into the match, IMPARATOR's goalkeeper Şevket Emiroğlu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Günalp Uluman. If Günalp Uluman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafet Kuddus kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Şevket Emiroğlu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bilge Nevruz's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Asaf Uzcan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Doğan Olcay, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th match minute, IMPARATOR was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seyrani Hanefi to maneuver through the defense. Şevket Emiroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilge Nevruz in the 72nd minute of play. Şevket Emiroğlu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bilge Nevruz went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. IMPARATOR's Şevket Emiroğlu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bilge Nevruz in the 80th minute of play. Habib Dural fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Asaf Uzcan having to interfere. Şevket Emiroğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bilge Nevruz in the 94th minute of play. Bilge Nevruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
