Mehmet Esendağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şanver Çağlar in the 5th minute of play. Cemal Tekdoğan struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Gencay Öğeturk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Makri Okşoho. Makri Okşoho's Mehmet Esendağ played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Şanver Çağlar in the 13th minute of play. 23 minutes into the game, Arif Cengiz Baydan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kirikhan's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Makri Okşoho the free kick. After 23 played minutes Kirikhan got a freekick which was hit by Arif Cengiz Baydan. If Binali Sungurtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 31st minute Binali Sungurtekin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gencay Öğeturk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mehmet Esendağ made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şanver Çağlar in the 32nd minute of play. Binali Sungurtekin charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Binali Sungurtekin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 33rd match minute, Makri Okşoho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Binali Sungurtekin to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Makri Okşoho's Binali Sungurtekin got a free kick in the 35th minute. After some careless play in the Makri Okşoho defense, Nadir Abanoz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mehmet Esendağ. The Makri Okşoho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mehmet Esendağ should have stopped the shot. Şanver Çağlar struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Mehmet Esendağ didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kirikhan. Nadir Abanoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehmet Esendağ having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Işıkalp Kırdar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehmet Esendağ showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genco Karacan in the 47th minute of the match. The Makri Okşoho players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Kirikhan were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Şanver Çağlar to make the kick off. Arif Cengiz Baydan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Mehmet Esendağ tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mehmet Esendağ made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Nadir Abanoz sent off a good shot on target. With his leg Mehmet Esendağ managed to avoid a goal in the 56thth minute, when Kirikhan's Nadir Abanoz fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mehmet Esendağ showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Şanver Çağlar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Binali Sungurtekin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 67 minutes of play, Kirikhan's Şanver Çağlar made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mehmet Esendağ was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mehmet Esendağ made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Arif Cengiz Baydan sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Kirikhan booed when Makri Okşoho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Işıkalp Kırdar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Mehmet Esendağ acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Genco Karacan. With an all-out effort, Kirikhan's Mehmet Esendağ threw himself towards the right post 79 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şanver Çağlar, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mehmet Esendağ didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 82nd minute, which inside left pole to 0-3. After a defensive mix-up in Makri Okşoho's zone, Nadir Abanoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mehmet Esendağ came out of the goal and Nadir Abanoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Binali Sungurtekin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Makri Okşoho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Binali Sungurtekin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kirikhan's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
