The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Adnan Sipahi struck a weak shot in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Velet Spor's Cem Hamurcuoğlu got control of the ball when Adnan Sipahi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Olgun Yoruç had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adnan Sipahi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cem Hamurcuoğlu came out and tried to block the shot, but Adnan Sipahi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 32nd minute. In the 38th minute, Adnan Sipahi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yenisanayi FK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Şinasi Mücip received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Cem Hamurcuoğlu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Olgun Yoruç sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

In the 54th minute Adnan Sipahi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cem Hamurcuoğlu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Adnan Sipahi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Velet Spor's Cem Hamurcuoğlu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 62 minutes, Şinasi Mücip made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Velet Spor's Cem Hamurcuoğlu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Cem Hamurcuoğlu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şinasi Mücip in the 85th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Velet Spor's Olgun Yoruç sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gazanfer Mennan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Adnan Sipahi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yenisanayi FK's supporters rose to their feet, but Adnan Sipahi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cem Hamurcuoğlu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Adnan Sipahi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adnan Sipahi scored 5-0 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cem Hamurcuoğlu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Yenisanayi FK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Velet Spor had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
