Işıkalp Kayrar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Behiç Omural tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Feridun Oker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behiç Omural having to interfere. Behiç Omural showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feridun Oker, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Feridun Oker in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Behiç Omural prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Atalan Hürsev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hamit Bircanoğlu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ilgaz İspinoz in the 34th minute of the match. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Ilgaz İspinoz made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 58 minutes, Feridun Oker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. skgalatasaray's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feridun Oker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in 8taş fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Resulhan Çetinoz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Feridun Oker managed to get in a good position for a shot. skgalatasaray's supporters rose to their feet, but Feridun Oker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Behiç Omural breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Feridun Oker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Behiç Omural made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Işıkalp Kayrar in the 67th minute of play. Feridun Oker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behiç Omural having to interfere. Ahmet Yahya Tekin kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Işıkalp Kayrar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 90 minutes of play, skgalatasaray's Feridun Oker made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Behiç Omural was left in no man's land by his defense there! Hamit Bircanoğlu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tugay Makul in the 94th minute. Feridun Oker fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Behiç Omural having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. skgalatasaray had played much better football throughout.
