When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Aycan Urkan sped through Hanönü's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Balamir Özaslan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Necmettin Bürgehan in the 24th minute of play forced Atlas United's goalkeeper Baykam Saadettin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
