The Sivas S.K fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aydın Kabak should have stopped the shot. Baykan Tezalp acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 44th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cüneyd Kutsalan. After the first half Navy blue street were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bahtiyar Helvacıoğlu made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Navy blue street's goal looked a bit too open when Bahtiyar Helvacıoğlu came free, but Baykan Tezalp reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
