Can Akdoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 10th minute, Can Akdoğan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Can Akdoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yakacik's supporters rose to their feet, but Can Akdoğan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şadi Onuk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mecnun Tandoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute Can Akdoğan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Şadi Onuk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Baran Uğur struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Saip Akkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for YENİÇERİ İDMAN YURDU. In the 23rd minute, Yağızalp Işıner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Şadi Onuk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mecnun Tandoğan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Şadi Onuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Can Akdoğan in the 30th minute of play. In the 43rd minute, one of Yakacik:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Yakacik. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yağızalp Işıner made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in YENİÇERİ İDMAN YURDU's zone, Can Akdoğan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Şadi Onuk came out of the goal and Can Akdoğan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mecnun Tandoğan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, YENİÇERİ İDMAN YURDU's Doğaner Berat got a free kick in the 55th minute. Mecnun Tandoğan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alper Özgurcan charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alper Özgurcan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 62 minutes, Mecnun Tandoğan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yakacik's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mecnun Tandoğan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anıl Baran Uğur in the 63rd minute of play forced Yakacik's goalkeeper Saip Akkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yakacik's Saip Akkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yağızalp Işıner in the 69th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Arif Buğra Hürsel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Şadi Onuk quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Şadi Onuk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mecnun Tandoğan in the 80th minute of play. Şadi Onuk was a little too slow when Mecnun Tandoğan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 83rd minute. The score was now 2-1. YENİÇERİ İDMAN YURDU's Yağızalp Işıner got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abbas Çetintürk hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match.
