Spectators: 6763 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 100) After having played for 4 minutes, Yüce Varan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sevilla's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yüce Varan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mahsun Mahşer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Şaban Taybars in the 10th minute of play. Tanju Secavend kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sevilla's attentive Baran Onguner managed to snatch the ball when Yenal Tanay made a throw-in in the 14th minute of the game. Nuratay Uçhan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 16th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. If Yüce Varan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hami İlkcan kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Yüce Varan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sevilla's supporters rose to their feet, but Yüce Varan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuratay Uçhan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 33rd minute, Hami İlkcan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the match, Ego SK's goal looked a bit too open when Tayyip Altunışık came free, but Nuratay Uçhan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mahsun Mahşer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Şaban Taybars in the 36th minute of the match. Şaban Taybars struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mahsun Mahşer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ego SK. Doğaner Tecelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mahsun Mahşer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Yüce Varan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sevilla's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tayyip Altunışık in the 49th minute. Tayyip Altunışık made a great header on Sevilla's corner, it was just that Ego SK's Nuratay Uçhan managed to reach the ball for a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Yüce Varan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nuratay Uçhan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 60 played minutes Sevilla got a freekick which was hit by Selahaddin Mehdi. Mahsun Mahşer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doğaner Tecelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yenal Tanay made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Muzaffer Talay. In the 73rd match minute, Sevilla was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanju Secavend to maneuver through the defense. Şaban Taybars recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Yüce Varan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yüce Varan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuratay Uçhan having to interfere. Sevilla were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ego SK for a fine match.
