The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet İlhan Tavil during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 2 played minutes SİLAY got a freekick which was hit by Ahmet İlhan Tavil. Melih Cevdet Tunçdağ's late challenge caught a Imamoglu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Melih Cevdet Tunçdağ helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes SİLAY got a freekick which was hit by Melih Cevdet Tunçdağ. 10 minutes into the match, Imamoglu's Utkan İpekçi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Emin Otaran narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 13 minutes into the match, Imamoglu's goalkeeper Ahmet Danış Sefer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Çetin Tur. Aktuğ Beksan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emin Otaran having to interfere. In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Imamoglu. Enis Uğurtan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emin Otaran. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Imamoglu's Ahmet Hayri Yılma got a free kick in the 24th minute. 31 minutes into the game, Ahmet Ozan Uğuş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Imamoglu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SİLAY the free kick. The supporters of SİLAY booed when Imamoglu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ahmet Ozan Uğuş didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 33rd minute of the match Ahmet Ozan Uğuş completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ahmet Ozan Uğuş a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Aktuğ Beksan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Imamoglu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Çetin Tur fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Çetin Tur sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Berkin Şahinter in the 47th minute of play forced Imamoglu's goalkeeper Ahmet Danış Sefer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Berkin Şahinter was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st match minute, Imamoglu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cihangir Kudret to maneuver through the defense.
